The District Community Police Offices offer CPTED assessments of your businesses or private residences. A team of volunteers with specialized training in CPTED principles will attend your home or business and provide recommendations on how to make it a safer place.
Victims of break and enters are referred to this program however, this free service is available to anyone. The CPTED members examine a number of factors in their assessment of the property. As an example, reinforcement of the area, access control, design considerations, parking, landscaping, lighting, and fencing are some of the factors considered.
